Evaluation: Question 6

Question: What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

When creating my magazine I used a variety of different programs. These programs where Photoshop (I used this to create all of my magazine), Blogger (I used to post and keep an organised page of what I went through to create my magazine), Prezi (to present some things on my blog) and I used word (to type everything up to make sure it was all spelled correctly).

Blogger was a program I didn't know about, so when using it I found it hard at the start to create posts i.e. place pictures in posts and position everything correctly. But now I have learnt to place photos, links, clip and encrypt (Prezi) different things into Blogger. Also I have learnt how to use my own themes for my blogger page.

Photoshop was the main program I used throughout the making of my magazine. I used it because I already know how to use it and the skills I learnt from before helped me produce my magazine very greatly because it let me use image effects, place font's where I need them, edit the fonts so they match my colour scheme, blend images and background and also create the right page sizes for my pages. Also it let me save my work as high resolution photos which make it easier for everyone to see when I post them on my blog.

I didn't use ID (InDesign) due to the fact that I didn't like how the program worked, I know it was a primary program industries use to make magazine but I feel Photoshop submitted this program greatly.
